This month I’ve had the pleasure of supporting John Digweed, Seth Troxler, Miguel Campbell and Lee Foss. It has been a whirlwind to say the least, much like this whole year!

I had so much fun playing these gigs and after warming up for Seth Troxler I have a newfound love for playing the opening set. There is something special about starting the proceedings early in the night and laying the foundation for the following artists. As I rarely play the opening set I was forced to discover and rediscover old and new tunes alike and was blow away by some of my slower tracks. This mix is an ode to the opener and while it never exceeds 118 BPM it never feels slow or dull.

Following an enormous relocation from Stockholm to Melbourne via a three week tour in Thailand there has been little time for the joys of music production.

However, I couldn’t wait any longer, the aural adventures must continue. This mix is designed to be less experimental and exploratory with an emphasis on dance floor appeal and journey. This mix is primarily a promotional tool designed to give an example of how ATMA’s style can evolve throughout the night to adapt to changing crowds and environments.
